Isn't it odd how magnolia flowers bloom first and then the leaves come next??

Hi Kelly - I have seen quite a lot of magnolia trees where blossoms and leaves are out at the same time. But what's interesting is that those are the ones with the dark blossoms - never the white or pink ones...
Kelly - i forgot - thanks for the link. I have seen those Bauhinia trees in dark pink in full bloom in Hongkong. These trees really look like trees full of orchids - simply stunning!
