Garden Dreams...

I don't own a garden myself - I have only a balcony with lots of flowerpots - everything that grows inside during winter is put outside - on the floor, on sideboards, hanging all over - it's like a tiny little green jungle including bees and bumble bees and butterflies and a whole lot of other little critters and including a feral pigeon family of 2 adults and 2 x 2 kiddos....
So you will probably understand why I am crazy for flowers and colours, colours, colours....

Hi Petra, I am crazy for flowers and colors too. The only bad thing with flowers is my allergyrhinitis, but then, my Claritin and Flonase are helping me appreciate the flowers, otherwise, I do not know where would I be during spring :(

But you really have a way of capturing the best of the colors of the flowers, and processing it to a wonderful work of art.

Hi Betchai - have you ever tried a de-sensibilisation? If it works it can save you to take lots of pills etc.
It has perfectly worked with me: first you have to be tested which pollen etc. are the worst, then you will get small injections with those allergenes over the winter months normally during a 3-years period (this does NOT hurt). This at least should weaken off your reactions. Since I did that I have no real problems with pollen, grasses etc. any more - the worst thing to happen is a little sneezing from time to time. That's all. I am not taking any drugs at all!
You should talk to a specialist!

A simply stunning garden/photo...the kind I would love to have but I don't seem to allow myself this kind...my gardens never look like that...perhaps it is because so far I've planted to make a neat garden?

Petra...here we call those allergy shots...my daughter had them...they work very well!

Cheers

Hi thanks, Heather - some people just seem to have the perfect hand for gardens. Maybe it shouldn't be all so neat but rather wild and dramatic - LOL!
And thanks for the info...
