Doesn't these look like as if someone took a brush and added some strokes of colour on top of the sun colour? Look close - it is amazing how these petals are "painted"...

Simply beautiful photos, the orange is so intense...you have managed to capture all the natural brush strokes from the deep orange to the pale yellow at the tips of the petals...stunning!!
