Malva in Pink

The blooms of the mallow have a simple structure but look close and see their wonderful texture - it looks as if they are made from a delicious silk paper - so very fragile. When they have grown to large bushes they look simply marvellous when in bloom...

"Malva alcea" (Malvaceae)
mallow, Rosenmalve

Wonderful photos! A couple of these remind me of Georgia O'Keefe paintings. I wish you'd showcase more of your artwork, too. Nice work! You might want to check out my website that focuses on art, it's called The Artist's Muse. You can find it at
http://www.sharonahart.blogspot.com

Again, congrats on the beautiful photos---you can almost smell the flowers!

Stunning! One of my very favorite colors. And, yes, the texture is so interesting. Like paper. Gorgeous!

Hi Sharon - thank you for your kind words.
Currently I have 5 blogs running and a website.
"Images and Imagination" is a blog about my art work, painting and wood carving mainly.
"Magic world through the lens" is my photographic art work
"Pigeon Tales" is a documentation about the a pigeon family with detailed observation and lots of photos.
"Kunstwerke mit Charisma" is a German blog with detailed docu about my art work exclusively and finally
"Blooms and Blossoms" which is entirely photowork about what it says.
And last but not least my official website www.vyala-arts.com -
So I think that's showcasing my art enough - LOL
Do you have any additional idea?

The problem is that all my blogs besides this one are on wordpress which does not allow entrecard. So I have to rely on people checking out my links...
