Living Spikes...

You cannot imagine how full of life these plants were - it was just humming and buzzing - bees, bumblebees, wasps, bugs, flies - all of them in perfect harmony without molesting each other, simply feeding on the nectar...

First of all purple/blue are my favorite colors...and flowers rank high on my list of favorites as well...these are stunning photos...love the lushness of the flowers...they are beautiful...have to say you caught the bees, etc nicely as well

Beautiful photos! I couldn't pick a favorite! I really like the last one, but then the first one is very unique. Either blown up would be gorgeous!
