The Blooms of Skye Flora - Creeping Cinquefoil

The tiny yellow flowers like these are seen everywhere alongside the paths in the countryside - along streets and slopes and even in the middle of the city where still some grass is allowed to grow. They build small and bigger groups of flowers - adding a lot of colour to the grey of the streets:

"Potentilla reptans" (Rosaceae)

Many people consider them a pest which I cannot understand because they do not do any harm. What I consider really disgusting is the view of these in the middle of the countryside - some people just seem to have absolutely no sensitivity for nature...
