At the End of Times...

All gone in the meanwhile - not a single one hanging to its lifecord any more - the way all things go...

GTS - Green Thumb Sunday

I think the best garden is a garden that has something to show off through the whole year. That might be colours as in this one, various interesting combinations of forms through trees, stones and other objects, simply showing a composition that enjoys the viewer every day no matter what weather or season.

I have photographed this specific garden many times this year and each time I went by cycling I found different colours. It was simply amazing.

Petals in Orange...

Asters are my absolute top favourite blooms in autumn. I especially love their warm colours and cannot get enough photographing them in all their shades and hues.
Don't forget to click on the photos for enlargement - only then you can see their little jewels - dewdrops...

More Autumn Colours

I love Asters - their colours are so intense during this time of the year and their little blooms always seem to have little happy faces...

Autumn Colours fully on the way...

Maybe you have already realized: I changed my header photo and the avatar fitting the season better now. Hope you'll like it!
Sometimes I think autumn is the best season in the year - glorious in all its golden and red and orange colours but then only when the weather is like this...
Too quickly this feast is gone with the wind...

Violet in Petunias...

On one of my cycling tours through Munich I discovered these incredibly intense Petunias the house owner had everywhere at his windows. The origins of this flower are from the southern American continent again - no wonder that the people there love intense colours...

And Pink again...

This is the colour I long for most in winter time when everything is so awfully grey and dark. Now I can go into my blog and bring back all those colours again...

This flower is not only beautiful (which flowers aren't?) but also a healing plant against flu and colds - good for stabilizing the immune system...
