This could be the last...
After so many months of trying to make this blog interesting and valuable I realize that it is obviously not worthwhile to really to be continued. I am probably not giving this up completely but apparently people have no real interest in blooms and blossoms, colours shown in intriguing environments. The amount of photography blogs running through the internet is simply too high even if the content of many blogs could be "neglected".
Well - simply looking at my stats I must say that all the work is not worthwhile to be continued if no-one likes to see it. I have so many tasks on my plate that I really need to set priorities and I decided to concentrate rather on my art and design tasks than wasting precious time for private pleasure only - - because pleasure it was, to collect all those photos and share them with one or two viewers.
Never mind....

When i don´t know what to do I take pictures too!... your are very beautifull! nice to meet you!
Petra - I have only been following your blog for a very short while, but I love your photos - very rich in textures and colours. So if you continue to post, I'll be happy to view them.
Do not go. I watch pictures:)
I am thinking of pulling the plug on my blog too. It is enjoyable but very time consuming.
Your photography is beautiful.
I don't know what to do either.

Sorry to hear you're going to give it up. I've read them all. But I read through the Google reader and don't go direct to your page, so it may not show up on your stats. It's possible lots of other viewers are doing the same thing. Best of luck, whatever you decide!
Just today, I thought of reviving my blog after a long hiatus. I started checking on the links and that is how I came visiting you again. So imagine my dismay when I find out you intend to let your blog rest. I say, don't. It is a beautiful blog. Keep it going.
I don't know how you keep up with multiple blogs Petra. I have a hard time just keeping one going. Hopefully you will discover the path that is right for you. I do enjoy seeing what you have discovered.
You have a beautiful blog, I scrolled down and looked at your photos and they are gorgeous. The secret to being seen is visit other blogs and leave comments. There are also a variety of memes that are easy to join and will get your photos to other bloggers. It's easy and fun.
I hope you don't give up you have a great blog.
Garden Lily,
thank you - this is so sweet of you to say!
Mandi,
thank you for your encouragement!
Stine - maybe I am not giving it up completely. I will see what I can do.
Thank you for your nice comment!
Mark, nice to see you here. This is exactly my problem. I did not realize that it would take so much of my time. But I have to pull the plug on some...
Squirrel Queen,
thank you so much for your suggestions. I have done that and given up completely. It takes too much time. I have left comments on so many blogs and not just "wows" and "how nice" - most people don't even care to respond and I have never seen them on mine. So - to be honest - what's the point? It's becoming quite frustrating and I have better things to do...
That was a really good post... thanks a lot for sharing...
Petra, I love your photos and the colors and textures you present, but I understand your conflict. I have the same one: too little time to blog, maintain a multitude of sites, and do the painting, photography, writing.
But I hope you don't leave us. I have enjoyed our visits and sharing.
I wish you the happiest of holidays and I sure do wish you would stay on the blogosphere!

I have seen pics on your blog and they are very good. You should continue this blog.
Petra, come back!
How have you been?
I think you're giving up too easily, frankly. You finally have your blog set up, it shouldn't be too hard to add new pictures to it if you enjoy taking pictures. Your blog is so new that probably people are just having a hard time finding it. You need to look into ways to promote it, I think and then you can always add some design work to it too if you enjoy doing that as well. Things just take time sometimes.
Oh so sad.. I've seen much less talented blogs with lots of happy followers.
Don't discount what you have to offer based on expectations. :)
How's it going for you now? You could still make a post for July.
