The Secrets of a Queen...

I don't know why I am always so fascinated by Magnolias. Maybe because they reveal their beauty only for a very short time in the year - if at all. Because each rainfall is assured death to their blossoms not to speak of frost and ice at a time of the year when this can happen easily in our area.

These are STUNNING! I can't believe the pictures on your site - I seriously thought they were stock photos until I began reading. I love all the pictures I've seen - but these, in this post, are just...mesmerizing!

Thank you for showing (incredible) pictures of (gorgeous) flowers this part of the country doesn't ever get to see. Beautiful!

Hi Petra Magnolias are the most stately and magnificent flower on the face of the earth. We have Magnolia trees in Lancaster, and it never ceases to amaze me.

Gorgeous photos! Hope all is well with you - Veronica

Oh Escudaero,
The tornado did do quite a bit of structural damage. But as of yet they have not announced any deaths or injuries.

It will be a miracle though if no one got harmed. They have some shopping centers, a Target Department store, and houses that have collapsed or sustained extreme damage!!

We just had a huge pour down here with some very high winds. I hope we don't lose our power.

They have almost 11,000 in OK. City right now without power!!

That's your update since you were kind enough to mention it.

Hi Shinade - I think your comment and answer to Veronica went astray somehow - sorry to hear about those damages. The storm has arrived here in Germany in the meanwhile, causing a couple of severe accidents in the meanwhile - hope it is going away soon! Don't know yet about the damages here...
