The Art of Grace...

What could be more graceful than a blade of grass.

I agree: grass can be exquisite. I like watching tall grasses blowing in the wind.

...and listening to the sound :)
I love corn fields and that soft whisper in the wind when it is ripe and the dry leaves make those wonderful magical sounds!

When I was a child in Pennsylvania, we lived above a huge cornfield that went on as far as the eye could see.

I used to climb down the bank at the back of our yard and walk in among the rows. The leaves and fronds would rustle, and play with the sunlight as it filtered through the foliage and into the rows. The stalks of corn were somehow sweet with fragrance, and I used to love to run my fingers over any corn silk that I could see, feeling its texture.

Thanks for bring back these memories for me, Petra. You and I would have a good time taking a walk together!
