Wisteria washed out

You would not believe this but all Wisteria blossoms - and I have seen many many - are totally pale this year. I could not make a single good photo that would have shown the beauty. I wonder if this is the missing sunlight or the rain or both or whether all the blossoms are fed up like me.
The following photos are all from last year's cycling tours around Munich...

Petra, the wisteria look beautiful! It's one of my favorite flowers and we are too far north to grow it here so I seldom get to see it. And what are you fed up about?

Haha - about the awful weather which is unbelievably bad this year. Rain and rain and rain and cold. Not a lovely joyful May - instead the contrary. I am soooo fed up with this. Additionally I am still struggling with a bad catarrh since 3 weeks now - my left ear still feels like packed in cotton wool. It nerves. No wonder with this weather. And next week we already have June. Arrrrrrgh.
Hope in your area it is better.

Besides this whining - I love the Wisteria too. This year I realized that they are growing in many many gardens here in Munich. A shame that because of the many rain all the lovely blossoms seem to lack colour - maybe it is also the missing sunlight. Somehow this plant looks so wonderfully oldfashioned - it reminds me very much of those old houses in England with the thatched roofs.
