Spring was very short this year but mother nature compensated us for this with the blooming of many plants at the same time - so you could enjoy blossoms which normally appear one after the other such as these - the dance of spiraea and forsythia:

The one the Header is from...the Blossoms of Forsythia
Forgot to show you the photo the header is currently cropped from - an exceptionally beautiful forsythia - more or less near to where I live. What I like is that this one was kept quite natural - I don't like those artificial cuts on blossom bushes...

Yellow Blossom Beauties...
Did I say it already? The forsythia are extremely beautiful this year - not only is the colour incredibly intense but the blooms last a long time...

A glorious Composition - Blossoms of Cherry and Forsythia...
Normally you won't see this composition here because when the cherries start to bloom the forsythia are already gone. But this year everything is different again...

Forsythia Blossoms - full Bloom
I cannot explain why but this year the Forsythia seem to be exceptionally beautiful and intense in their colours. Maybe it's because they had to wait for so long to be able to bloom - 2 months later than usual!!

Forsythia - the Sun Blossom
For this year it's over - the blossoms of the Forsythia are gone but I managed to photograph at least a few again. I call them the Sun Blossoms because they are the first colour which can be seen after our long winters...
Forsythia - Blossoms in Yellow
Citifolks often have lost their relationship to nature and rushing from one appointment to another seldom leaves the freedom to really enjoy the gifts of Mother Nature. I want to show what is often missed because most people don't see any more what's in their direct environment. And often gardens have become too small for planting trees because the space is needed for living.
So I try to catch these miracles as often as I can with my camera and whenever the weather allows me to do this. I want to share what I have seen in abundance and still cannot get enough...
