My Epiphyllum

Up till now I have shown you what other people have in their gardens or what's blooming in the parks in Munich but this time I show you what I have on my balcony: these are my Epiphyllum beauties:

And you might not know this - these are the fruits of the bloom - they taste deliciously!!! I did not even notice the fruit until it was grown to a nice size of a pigeon egg...



And this is an Epiphyllum that has not bloomed for 15 years - I did not even know any more what colour the blooms originally had and this year it happened - 4 blooms with a size of about 5 inches in diameter like these:

"Epiphyllum"

I wonder whether these will have some fruit too....
