The Feast of the Wisteria...

Even when I am risking you to become bored with endless photos of wisteria I also think there a fans out there who appreciate these images because this climbing plant is just too beautiful to be neglected. Even when the blossoms are gone the foliage of this plant is beautiful because it is so graceful and the special green hue is exceptionally fresh for the eyes...

Garden Dreams...

Unfortunately we don't own a garden right now so I HAVE to rummage the gardens of our neighbourship. I am often seen - probably people consider me nuts in the meanwhile. Many might have seen me repeatedly, standing at fences and raving and drooling over the lovely treasures other people are calling their own, clickin' the camera again and again and wondering why this crazy woman is photographing those "ordinary" flowers for the 100th time. But probably I am going to take pictures for the 101rst time - I am sure...

Blooms - It's only Wallcress but the Colours...

I love wallcress. Tiny little flowers which are often neglected but did you realize that if they are cared for with love they become real jewels - the colours are so intense, amazingly beautiful in their simplicity - but see for yourself...

The Wallcress is blooming....

The wallcress is now blooming everywhere and creating "cushions" of bold colour. How would this be as a cushion to sleep on? The right ones for a fairy. But there will be more - much more...

A Colour between blue and purple....

Depending on the setting of your monitor - this colour appears blue or deeply violet. I have hardly seen a colour so intense such as this on a bloom.

More Blooms of the Spring Messengers...

Yes - they are ordinary. But so many flowers are ordinary and still every single one is a miracle. The hyacinths impress with their colours and their wonderful intense scent of which I cannot get enough...

A beautiful little blue Bloom - Glory-of-the-Snow

This little flower is a glory-of-the-snow and if you let it it soon covers the soil like a carpet....

Wild Larkspur - endangered***

A couple of weeks ago I discovered something very special in a field: wild larkspur which is an endangered species here in Germany. Additionally it was not only one colour blooming but THREE different ones!! It was difficult to photograph as there was a fence around that field. Two days later they had mewn the field for some un-plausible reason and the blooms were gone...
