The last images of my favourite blossom tree for this year. The perfume of this little tree was beyond words - I just could have stood there for hours and continue to stick my nose into those lovely blossoms (btw - the owner whom I asked for permission to photograph - had not even realized that the magnolia had such a strong and lovely fragrance - well - isn't it often like this?)
"Magnolia stellata"Could there be enough photos of this majesty of a blossom?
"Magnolia stellata"
This year I managed to find quite a few Magnolia Stellata which is not quite easy. Either the blossoms are not open yet or too far gone...
The perfume of this one was exuberant!!! I hardly could take my nose off...
"Magnolia stellata" (Magnoliaceae)This one is only small but I loved the light...
"Magnolia stellata" (Magnoliaceae)Just starting to bloom: Magnolia stellata - the queen of all Magnolia I think!
