Blossoms like Silk Fabric somehow....

These blossoms are already beyond their zenith - and start to decay. But nevertheless they look beautiful and somehow like silk fabric...

  1. Wow!! These magnolias are beautiful!!

Isn't it odd how magnolia flowers bloom first and then the leaves come next??

If you'd like to see a beautiful orchid tree in bloom, check out Tareq's blog:

  2. Hi Kelly - I have seen quite a lot of magnolia trees where blossoms and leaves are out at the same time. But what's interesting is that those are the ones with the dark blossoms - never the white or pink ones...

  3. Kelly - i forgot - thanks for the link. I have seen those Bauhinia trees in dark pink in full bloom in Hongkong. These trees really look like trees full of orchids - simply stunning!
